About

A therapist who believes in the power of being truly heard

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. My goal is to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward becoming the best version of yourself — both today and moving forward.

My background

I earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from National University and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. I have several years of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges, drawing on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care.

I bring years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient psychiatric facilities, community-based mental health services, and with individuals who have experienced incarceration. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating complex mental health challenges, life transitions, and difficult circumstances.

Areas of experience

I have extensive experience supporting individuals living with severe mental illness and families navigating the challenges of having a loved one with a mental health diagnosis. I understand that mental health challenges can impact not only the individual but also their relationships, family dynamics, and overall quality of life.

I also have a strong background working with older adults and the aging population, supporting individuals through life transitions, emotional challenges, and changes in independence and well-being.

How I work

I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet each individual's unique needs with an integrative approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe that communication is key to effective therapy. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment by actively listening, validating experiences, and using reflective listening techniques. It's important to me that you feel truly heard and supported throughout your journey toward personal wellness.
